Hey Lobstah Lovers,
It has been an incredibly busy since landing here in Maine for the year! Everyday has been a big hustle bustle, but we are handling it well. This past weekend, we had the fantastic opportunity to be a sponsor of the Atlantic Cup inshore series and the Centerboard Yacht Club in South Portland.
For those of you who don't know, the Atlantic Cup is a multi part race starting in Charleston, SC and then bouncing to NYC, before landing in Portland, ME. We created the winners baskets for the different classes of racers and were delighted to include some goodies from other local stores in Round Pond, as well as our own shirts and hats!
Everything went off without a hitch, and we were treated to an amazing catered dinner with drinks from the Shipyard Brewery. On Sunday, we were invited onto the committee boat to watch the inshore races from the water! What a treat that was, and so exciting too. It is crazy to see a dozen 40ft long racing yachts powering through the water, keeled over and only feet apart.
The crews are bold and its awesome! We look forward to many more races in the future!
Overall the weekend was a raving success and a great step in the right direction for our young company!
